Trick or Treat Halloween Card

 Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I want to share a simple Halloween card I created with Doodlebug Designs pattern paper.

I love the stickers that match this paper line.  I made the little "City" with the stickers.  I added a piece of silver glitter ribbon along the bottom and the sentiment is matching stickers as well.

Simple but cute.  Halloween does not have to be spooky and scary.  I tend to lean toward cute and sweet.

Get Creative Challenge: Favorite Color Combos

Hello Crafty Friends,

What colors do you tend to gravitate to when you are crafting?  What color combos do you love?  Well, this month's challenge at Get Creative Challenge Blog is your favorite color combos.

I love pink and brown together, so I created this sweet card with the Chico the Chihuahua from Dr. Digi.

I colored this image with my Copics:

Ears: C9, C7, C5, R85, R83

Collar: R85, R83

Tail and Nose: 100, C9, C7, E39, E37

Body: E39, E37, E35, E34

I colored this image to match my furbaby Princess.

I then backed the image with pattern paper from Doodlebug Designs and Cardstock from Fun Stampers Journey.

I finished the card by adding tiny rhinestones to the heart on the collar and puffy heart stickers to the corners.  I also added some Journey Glaze from Fun Stampers Journey to the eyes.

Forever Fern Birthday

Hello Crafty Friends,

September is coming to an end and I have one last Forever Fern card to share with you.

I have loved working with this Bundle.  I used the gold elements included with the bundle to hold the sentiment I stamped from Fun Stampers Journey.

I then stamped the inside of the card to  match.

I love this bundle and will use it again.

Bitten By the Bug 2: Halloween

 Hello Crafty Friends,

We have a new challenge at Bitten by the Bug 2 and the challenge is Halloween.  I tried my hand at a bigger vinyl project this month.

I started with a blank pizza pan from Dollar Tree.  I then cut the file from Miss Kate's Cuttables with my Cricut in the different colors of vinyl.  I changed the order a little bit to accommodate the pan shape.

I then added a black, orange and purple bow to the top.  I hot glued the ribbon tails to the sides of the pan so you could read the words.

This was a time consuming project to get everything so straight and out together so they all fit on the pan, but the results are great.  I will definitely be trying this type of project again.

Now it is your turn.  Break out your Cricut and create a Halloween project and share it with us at Bitten By the Bug 2.

Thanks for stopping by.  Please leave me a comment.

Love and Laughter Forever

 Hello Crafty Friends,

Today's card is a rather simple one, but one that is quite elegant.

Stampin up as part of the Forever Fern bundle have two long and skinny embossing folders.  I took the leaf one and ran it across the card base.  I thought it added some texture to the cardbase.

I then layered the white cardstock and pattern paper on top with foam squares.  Next, I stamped my sentiment and added it to the card,  The pattern paper in this bundle is gorgeous, so I wanted to feature it.
