Stampin Friends Blog Hop- Favorite things

Welcome to the Stampin Friends Blog Hop! This month’s theme is Favorites. If you are following along the hop, you have arrived from Kim's blog. Be sure to read through my blog, comment below and continue to Annie Marie's blog. If you get lost along the way, you can find a list of Blog Hoppers at the end of each Blog.
Here are the projects I created for this month’s hop.

My favorite thing is Coffee.  So, I knew right away what I wanted to create.

I used the Felicity Hello stamp from Stamp Anniething.   I colored the image with my Copics.

Skin: E11, E21, E00, E000
Frap: E44, E43, E42
Cup: C2, C1, C0
Dress: B95, B93, B91
Scarf: R56, R85
Hair: E77, E74, E71

I stamped the Frap with the Oh, Frap! saying from My Next Stamp- Java Geek.   The card base is created with Whip Cream  cardstock and pieces of Echo Park Paper Coffee pattern paper.

My project, is of course of had to do with coffee.

I got the pattern for the pod holder from Stamped Silly and used Whip Cream Cardstock.   I used Journey circles to cut the circles on the top for the pods.  I then decorated the pod holder with the same Echo Park Coffee pattern paper.

I die cut the word coffee from The Next Die out of Echo Park Coffee pattern paper.

The flowers I used to finish the project off are from Prima.

Thank you for stopping by.  Please leave me a comment and then don’t forget to go to the next hopper to continue hopping along.

Doodlebug envelope Birthday Card

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I have a card to share with you that I used two Doodlebug mini envelopes.

I used Limeade Splash, Watermelon Fusion and Bubble Gum Cardstock for the card base.  I then used one envelope to create the strip of pattern paper across the bottom portion of the card.  I then added the other envelope to the card base to hold the two tags.

I die cut the flowers with the Romantic Flower Die, cutting the larger one out of Watermelon Fusion and the smaller one out of Bubble Gum Cardstock.  I layered these on top of each other and added the wooden button to the top with a Whip Cream thread bow.

The tags are cut from the tag die and Bubble Gum and Whip Cream Cardstock.  I added Special Days Organza Ribbon and Watermelon Fusion Satin Ribbon.  The sentiment is from the Inside and Out stamp set with Black Licorice ink.

Bitten by the Bug 2- Masculine Challenge

Hello Crafty Friends,

We have a new challenge over at Bitten by the Bug.  The theme is Masculine.  When I heard what the theme was going to be I knew exactly what I wanted to do.

This BBQ box is from Dreaming Tree.
What I love most about Dreaming Tree is that they help you assemble the projects right along side you.  There is a video tutorial for each and every project.

Here is a close up of the front controls.  I used Fashion Brads Silver from Fun Stampers Journey.

Here is a look under the cover.

But that's not it.  Here is a look under the grill.

This would be the perfect box to surprise someone with a grill or even fill it with spices for a grill master.

I hope you try out Dreaming Tree.  They have lots of fun projects and add more all the time.

Thanks for stopping by.  Please leave me a comment.

Tea Party Thank you

Hello Crafty Friends,

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

Today I am sharing a tea themed thank you note I designed and created for our church's Women's Tea, early this month.

I designed in Cricut Design space to print the lettering and then to cut the teapot out.

Here is what they looked like on the table.

I was very happy with the way they came out.

Hello Crafty Friends,

I want to wish you a Happy Valentine's Day!  It is a day full of love.  I have a special project to share with you.

I had one of those "I can make that much cheaper" thoughts the other day when I was in JoAnn's.  I found this cute little heart in the kids craft area.  I thought it was cute because of the slats.

I brought it home and used my Cricut to cut out the rolled roses from the Close to My Heart Art Philosophy cartridge with Candy Apple Cardstock from Fun Stampers Journey.  I then cut the word Love from Simple Sweet Cartridge out of Black Licorice Cardstock.

I put the flowers together with hot glue and used hot glue to attach them to the heart.  I then used white glue to attach the word love.

I love this little project.  Happy Valentine's Day!

Crafty Gals Corner Blog Challenge- Add Hearts

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today we have a new challenge at Crafty Gals Corner.  The challenge is to add hearts.

I had so much fun coloring this image from Fabrika Fantasy titled: Valentine Fishes.

I used my Copics to color this image:
Green fish:YG17, YG 13, YG11
Purple Fish: V17, V15, V12
Water:  B28, B24, B21

The water was a new coloring challenge for me.  I have never actually colored a full image and surrounding background.  I think it came out great and I learned a lot.

Here is a close up of the fish.

I then added some Journey Glaze from Fun Stampers Journey to accent the bubbles.

I hope you will join the challenge at Crafty Gals Corner.

Thank yu for visiting.  Please leave me a comment.

You're my Person

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I want to share a card I created for a "girlfriend" card for our last crop.

I colored the image of the nurse with my Copics:
Skin: E11, E21, E00 and E000
Hair: E49, E47 and E57
Scrubs: B32, B21

I used pattern paper from my stash.  I die cut a rectangle with the piercing die from Fun Stampers Journey from Whip Cream Cardstock.  I then stamped the sentiment from Kindred Stamps with River Stone ink.
