Valentine Card

Today my Downline and I had a class.  We met some really great people and hope to expand our group.  Our theme today was Valentine's Day.  I just love the Fun Stampers Journey ATS stamp #99, Doily Heart.

It is so simple, but when stamped it makes a great image.  I love how it came out!  Enjoy!

Last trade for our Coaches Meeting

Ok, here is the last trade I did for our recent Fun Stampers Journey Coaches meeting.

I knew I wanted to share this easy and delicious strawberry salad.  The problem was, we don't currently have a strawberry stamp or Spellbinder die cut.  My solution...I used the stamp set Summer Garden and used the colors of strawberry blossoms.  I love the way it turned out.  I really like the way the colored half stones looked on the image, to give the idea of new strawberries growing.

Another wonderful trade

Ok, this one was a challenge.  I am to going to lie.  I had to use a Spellbinder Die on the gift bag.  I knew this, but I also knew that I didn't want just a flat die cut.  After searching ideas on Pinterest, I came up with this flower using the Spellbinders Labels 17 dies.

First, I cut 3 different sizes in 3 different colors.

Then I cut each each side in half to the middle without cutting all the way.

Then I curled the end in.

Next I curled the sides of each "petal".

Then I stacked them on each other adhering them with pop dots in between.

Lastly, I added a half pearl on the middle.  I love the way they came out.

Another Trade from our meeting

Here is another one of my trades for our Coaches meeting last Saturday.  This one was fun to do because I love Christmas.

Christmas is my favorite holiday because of all the things that go into the holiday.  I love the smell of my mom baking cookies and breads, the Christmas lights on the house and even cars and trucks this year and all of the seasonal foods and drinks.  I got quite addicted to Starbucks' Peppermint Mocha this year.  Christmas is also the birth of Christ, which is the reason we celebrate this holiday.  I can't even imagine my life without Jesus.  He loves me no matter what.  We must keep Christ in Christmas, because this is the real rason for the season.
The requirements for this one was to use all FSJ product and Spellbinders dies.  I love the mini holiday tree die from Spellbinders.  Used on top of the FSJ tree from the Holiday Silouettes set, it makes for a very elegant look, don't you think?

Journey Coaches Meeting

Today we had our quarterly meeting of the Fun Stampers Journey Coaches.  We always have a great time of eating, laughing, sharing and talking.  The highlight of the day is always the trades that are done by the coaches.  The first trade I did was one that I organized.  The requirements were to make a spring or Easter card and It had to have pink somewhere on the card.  Here is what I did.
I used all Fun Stampers Journey product.  I used hazelnut blend ink and Journey Glaze on the cross.  I also used Journey Glaze and sprinkled Journey Dust on the flowers.  I love the way it turned out.
