4/18/18

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I would like to share with you a very clean and simple card.  I love this flower, the Peony, for this card.

I stamped the Peony on the Grape Fusion corners, then across the Pretty Amythest and then on a piece of Lavender Fusion, which I fussy cut and added to the top.

When you look at the stamp for "Thinking of You", you will notice that it is one line.  It is ok to cut our stamps to rearrange the wording.  It does not effect the quality of the stamp.

Supplies Used:
Stamp: Peony Blooms
Cardstock: Pretty Amethyst Cardstock, Grape Fusion Cardstock, Lavender Fusion Cardstock. Whip Cream Cardstock
Ink: Black Licorice
Silk: Sparkle
Accessories: Pearls

Hello Crafty Friends,

I hope you had a great weekend.  I was busy all weekend, but I would not have it any other way!

It's a new week, so that means a new weekly layout in my planner.

I chose to do a "green" layout because this week is Earth Day!  It is always a good time to think about the ways we can help keep the Earth clean!

I hope you have a great week!

Supplies Used:
Stamp: Grow Friendship
Ink: Black Licorice
Colored with Color Burst Pencils

When I saw this stamp set, I knew I wanted to create a Mother's Day card.

To create the blue background I used Catalina Splash Liquid Color and water.  I added a few drops to a block and added some water.  I then "smashed" my Pool Play paper into the puddle I created.  After it was dry, I die cut an oval out of it.

Supplies Used:
Stamp: Pretty Birds, Annual Celebration
Paper: Butter Cream Cardstock, Fresh Forest Cardstock, Pool Play Cardstock
Ink: Black Licorice, River Stone
Dies: Journey Ovals, Border Details
Embossing Folder: Petal Wall
Accessories:  Candy Minis, Fire and Ice (BB)
Colored with: Catalina Splash Liquid Color, Color Burst Pencils

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my project.

Next head on over to Amanda's blog.

Here's our line up in case you get lost along the way.

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I want to share a birthday card with you.  You can never had too many birthday cards!

I started by inking up the Fringe Wall background stamp set with the different colors starting with the lightest; Orange Creamcicle, Candy Apple, Beach Ball and Grape Fusion.
Next, I cut the star from Lemon Drop paper with the Star-dom die.  The I took the circle and die cut the Lemon Drop and Background piece together.  I then created the shaker card.  To get the Lemon Drop in the back of the shaker card, I used Lemon Drop to close the "pocket".

Supplies Used:
Stamp: Fringe Wall, Greeting Trends
Paper: Whip Cream Cardstock, Lemon Drop Cardstock, Beach Ball Cardstock
Ink:  Orange Creamcicle, Candy Apple, Beach Ball and Grape Fusion
Silk: Sparkle
Accessories: Star-fetti

4/4/18

Hello Crafty Friends,

It has been a whirlwind of start to April!  I celebrated my birthday on Saturday and was surprised with a faux fireplace that my brother built by himself.  I was in tears because it is beautiful and I have always wanted one.

Then on Sunday was Easter and we shared the day with our family by going to church together, hanging out together and having a big Easter dinner.

Monday, was my last day of my Spring Break and I enjoyed it with some retail therapy and a nap!

Welcome April!

Today I want to share with you the last Easter card I created.  I love this one the best.

The background of the card is created using Pan Pastel and the Stained Glass Stencil.
I then stamped the Color Cross on Color Splash paper with Black Licorice.  I then colored the cross with Color Splash Pencils.
Adding the Bloom Cluster in Lemon Grass Cardstock, and some flowers and pearls to the middle, I created a work of art.

Supplies Used:
Stamp: Color Cross
Paper: Pretty Amethyst Cardstock,  Color Splash Sheets, Lemon Grass Cardstock, Lavender Fusion Cardstock
Ink: Black Licorice
Dies: Color Cross, Bloom Cluster
Punches: Summer Pretties
Stencil:  Stained Glass Stencil.
Accessories: Lemon Grass Thread, Pearls
Colored with:  Color Splash Pencils and Pan Pastel
