The base of the card is Kiwi Slice Cardstock, with a layer of pattern paper from the RSVP Prints.  I then cut a scallop into the base, using Journey Scallops.  I attached a piece of acetate between the pattern paper and the card base.   I stamped the frog from the Stick Around stamp set on Limeade Splash Cardstock and Whip Cream Cardstock with Black Licorice ink, then used the matching die to cut out the frog.  I fussy cut the eyes and placed them on the frog.

Hello Crafty Friends,

I hope you are enjoying Spring where you are at.  The first day of Spring here in Southern California started out with a rainy day.  I love rainy days so I was fine with it.  But today, seems to be a true Spring Day for us.
Today I have a card to celebrate Spring and all the flowers that are blooming around us.

The card base it made from Whip Cream cardstock, with a layer of Whip Cream Cardstock that is embossed with the Pretty Plaid Embossing Folder.  I then layered a Pool Play Cardstock circle that I cut from Journey Circles.
I then stamped the daffodils from Hippity Hoppin Stamp set and Black Licorice ink, two on one piece of Whip Cream cardstock and one on another piece.  I then colored them with Journey Splash pencils and took my blender brush with water to spread the color around.  I detail cut these out and added two flat to the card and one with foam squares to the middle.
I then placed a piece of Create and Bloom Pattern Paper.  I then stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set with Black Licorice ink.  I then fussy cut this out and used a foam square to adhere to the card.

Welcome to the Stampin Friends Easter/Pastels Blog Hop

I hope you are having a great day.  Today we are hopping along with an Easter theme.  We hope you are inspired to create your own projects to celebrate your love.

The base of the card is Whip Cream Cardstock, a strip of Playful Prints and a strip of Through the Years Pattern paper.
I then created the rosette with Spring Crepe paper, Whip Cream Cardstock cut with Journey Circle dies.  I then stamped the All Ears bunny stamp with River Stone and Watermelon Fusion ink on the circle as well as a piece of Whip Cream Cardstock that I then fussy cut out and placed on top of the circle with foam squares.  I then took a piece of blue Spring Crepe paper and tied it with Whip Cream thread and added to the bottom of the bunny for his bow tie.
I added this to the card and finished the card, by adding the sentiment from Annual Celebration with River Stone ink.

I then took this same idea and created a pin that I can wear on Easter.

I used Lemon Drop for the circle this time and included a green Spring Crepe bow tie.
Together, they make a fun little gift for someone on Easter.

Hello Crafty Friends,

I have a card today that has no stamping.  I know this is not an "usual" card because we always use stamps, but I think you are going to like this.

I then die cut the word Hello with the Hugh Hello Die out of Rustic Rose Cardstock.  I glued this down to the card panel.  I then added 3 pearls to the bottom corner.
Lastly, I added the panel to the Whip Cream card base with foam squares.

Hello Crafty Friends,

It is the first of March!  You know what that means, it is time for a new challenge over at the Love to Craft Challenge Blog.  The challenge is Anything Goes and I hope you will join us.

I created a special project for this month's design team share.

This is a perpetual calendar.  On the month page, you can keep track of important birthdays.  You can also use it as a daily calendar, by changing the numbers each day.

This is what the side of the calendar looks like.

And the back, I create a stand for it out of some extra heavy chipboard.

The colors and pattern paper are all a part of the Good Life Collection from Fun Stampers Journey.
I cut the months and dates with my Cricut and the Designer Calendar cartridge.
I bound the whole thing with my Cinch machine.

The Fun Stampers Journey products can be purchased here.
