No words can Expresso...

It's the last day of the hop and I have my favorite card of all today!  I just love this sentiment.
The base of the card is Buttercream Cardstock.  I then cut a layer of Hazelnut Blend and another layer of Buttercream Cardstock.  I adhered the Hazelnut Blend piece to the card.  I then made my own background paper using the coffee cup from Hey Sugar stamp set by stamping with Hazelnut Blend ink on the Buttercream Cardstock.  Before adhering this piece to the card, I ripped the one corner off and distressed the edges with Hazelnut Blend ink.  I added a little bit of Rich Sorbet PanPastel to the cups.
I then took a strip of Thanksgiving Prints and ripped on the end, distressed the edges with Hazelnut Blend ink and adhered it to the card.
I tied a Journey Natural Twine bow around the side of the card.  I then took Dark Roast silk and splattered it over the card.
To finish the card I stamped my sentiment from Hey Sugar on Buttercream Cardstock with Hazelnut Blend ink.  I also distressed the edges with Hazelnut Blend ink.

Where you Bean all my life?

Today I have another card for the Blog Hop, but this one puts a smile on my face.  Check out the sentiment?  Love it!
The base of the card is Oatmeal Cookie Cardstock.  I then cut a layer of Thanksgiving Prints and adhered it to the base.  I then cut a strip of another piece of Thanksgiving prints and adhered this to the middle of the card.  I then wrapped a piece of Journey Natural Twine around the whole card and tied a knot.  I then threaded the twine through a Wooden Accent Button and tied another knot.
Next, I die cut two Journey Circles from Oatmeal Cookie Cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment from Hey Sugar on one with Cocoa Powder ink.  The other one, I cut in half.  I distressed all of the edged with  Cocoa Powder ink.
To finish the card, I adhered the two half circles to the card and used foam squares to adhere the sentiment circle.  I then used Dark Roast silk and splattered the whole card.  Enjoy!

I like Big cups....

Today's card is a little mixed media, but I love the results!
The base of the card is Oatmeal Cookie Cardstock.  I then cut a layer of Cocoa Powder Cardstock.  On this piece, I used the Rings Stack Stencil and Journey Modeling Paste to create the background.  When it was fully dry (I usually let pieces dry over night), I took Rich Sorbet PanPastels and colored the modeling paste.  I tied a Oatmeal Cookie Satin Ribbon bow around the piece and adhered it to the card base.
Next, I die cut a Journey Circle from Buttercream Cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment from the Hey Sugar set with Cocoa Powder Ink.
To finish the card, I added a few Spring Accent Dots.  Enjoy!

I then die cut the small circles with Journey Circle from Buttercream Cardstock and distressed them using Rich Sorbet PanPastels.
I stamped the latte and the sentiment from the Hey Sugar stamp set using Hazelnut Blend Ink.  I adhered the circles to the card using foam squares.
I then die cut the leaf from Snapshot Frames die set.  One from Candy Apple cardstock and the other from Summer Days cardstock.  I adhered them to the card with glue.

Can You Case It? #139

A rainbow of colors is the theme today at the Can You Case It? Challenge Blog.
http://canyoucaseit.com/?p=3413
Here is the card I created using PanPastels.
I started the card by cutting a piece of Whip Cream Cardstock at 5 3/8 X 4 1/8.  I then took my different PanPastels from Rich Sorbet and Party Pop collections to create the rainbow across the Whip Cream Cardstock piece.
I then adhered this piece to the card base made from River Stone Cardstock.  I then die cut the largest heart from the Decorative Hearts die set from River Stone cardstock. I adhered the card to the card base with glue and wrapped and tied the side of the heart with Whip Cream Thread.
I finished the card by stamping the sentiment from Beautiful Wings with River Stone ink on Whip Cream Cardstock.  I adhered this piece to the card using foam squares.  I then added a few rhinestones.  Enjoy!

Can You Case It? #138

Today is another challenge at Can You Case It?  A fun challenge!

Here is the card I created:
I love the Slice of Life collection and to make a shaker card, I was happy.
The base of the card is Pineapple Smoothie Cardstock.  I then took a piece of Whip Cream Cardstock and Slice of Life Pattern Paper and made the top layers.  I placed these on top of the card, and using the Journey Circles, I die cut all three layers.
I then made the shaker card part by making a sandwich of acetate, foam squares with the Slice-fetti, acetate, Whip Cream Cardstock and Slice of Life Pattern Paper.
I then added a piece of Whip Cream Cardstock to the back and stamped the sentiment from the Make Lemonade set with Watermelon Fusion ink.
On the front of the card, I stamped the sentiment from Make Lemonade with Watermelon Fusion ink on Whip Cream Cardstock and added it to the card with foam squares.
To finish the card, I tied a bow around the whole card with Lemon Grass Thread.  Enjoy!

Can You Case It? #137

It's Sunday again and you know what that means....
A new Can You Case It? Challenge!  Today we have a color challenge.
Here is the card I created:
The base of the card is a Sweet Pear Cardstock, with a layer of Watermelon Fusion Cardstock.  I then took a piece of Whip Cream Cardstock and stamped the Beautiful Wings image onto the cardstock randomly with River Stone ink.  I then stamped another butterfly on a scrap piece of Whip Cream Cardstock.
Using my Journey Splash pencils, I colored the butterflies.  Bubble Gum for the background butterflies and Sweet Pear and Watermelon Fusion on the main butterfly.  I then took the Fusion Blender Pen, filled with water, and blended the colors a little bit.
I added a River Stone Satin Ribbon bow around the card, and tied the heart button from Journey Color Buttons II with Whip Cream Thread and tied in a bow.
To finish the card, I added some Journey Glaze to the main butterfly and dusted it with Journey Sparkle Dust.  Enjoy!
I hope you will join us this week with the challenge.  Also remember to follow us on Facebook to see upcoming challenges as well.
