God is on your side

Sometimes I have to remind myself that God is always on my side and He loved me so much to die for me.  Today's card reminds me of this truth.
The base of the card is made from Lemon Grass Cardstock.  I then cut a piece of Sweet Berry Cardstock and Spring Parade Pattern paper.  On a piece of Whip Cream Cardstock I stamped the wreath using the Lead Me stamp set.
I started by drawing a circle on the Cardstock.  I then took the 3 branch/leaf stamps in Kiwi Slice, Limeade Splash and Lemon Grass Ink.
On a separate piece of Whip Cream Cardstock, I stamped the 3 flowers with Sweet Berry Ink and fussy cut them out.
I added the Whip Cream thread to the card by punching a small hole on the fold of the card.  I knotted the thread and added a piece of Bubble Gum Satin Ribbon, then tied a bow.
To finish the card, I added dimension to the flowers by doing a swirl motion on the back of the petals with my Bloom Tool.  I then added them to the card with foam squares and added Journey Glaze and Journey Sparkle Dust to the centers.  Enjoy!

I then cut a Lemon Drop banner to the left side and stamped the sentiment from The Light ATS in Black Licorice Ink.  I then added Spring Accent Dots and Rhinestones to finish the card.  Enjoy!

Theme Reveal-Natural Earth

I love challenging myself and this is going to be a challenge.  I am participating in the A to Z Blogging Challenge.   The challenge is to post everyday in April, except Sundays,  on your blog using the alphabet.    So on April 1st, you post something for the letter A, April 2, the letter B and so on.

When I thought about the theme, I wanted to include something that had to do with Earth because it is the month of Earth Day.  I am also a nature lover, so my theme is:

Natural Earth

I will be using the alphabet and my love of papercrafting, to reveal those things that I love that come from the Earth!  I can't wait to get started and hope that you will visit to check out my list.

Spring Coffee in a cup

Today, I want to share a card I created for the Coffee Lover Papercrafters Blog Hop.
The card base was created with Buttercream and Bubble Gum Cardstock.  I stamped with Bubble Gum ink on the Bubble Gum Cardstock with the Paper Floral background.
I used a previous Kit of the Month set, Cozy Wishes (not available for purchase yet) for the coffee cup.  The coffee cup is stamped with Dark Roast on Buttercream Cardstock.  I then stamped the cup again on a piece of scrap paper and cut the cozy part out.  I used this as a pattern to cut the "cozy" out of the Spring Parade paper.  I distressed all the pieces and put them together.
I die cut a Journey Circle from Oatmeal Cookie Cardstock and stamped the sentiment from the Enjoy Coffee stamp set in Dark Roast Ink.
I finished the card with a Cocoa Powder Gingham ribbon bow, where I attached a Clear Button Accent with Natural Journey Twine.  Lastly, I added Sweet Berry Spring Bloom Minis and rhinestones.  Enjoy!

Pink Zebra Blooms Blog Hop

Welcome to the Fun Stampers Journey, Pink Zebra Blooms Blog Hop!  I'm so happy to have you hoppin' along!  If you arrived here from Heather's blog, you're on the right track.  If not, that's ok too!  Just continue the hop and you'll come full circle!"

Today, I would like to share two cards with you I made using the same stamp set,  Favorite Peeps.

First is a card using the eggs and the chick in the egg.  The chick was paper pieced with Banana Cream and Whip Cream Cardstock.  The eggs were stamped with Sweet Berry Ink on Bubble Gum Cardstock and Grape Fusion Ink on Pretty Amethyst Cardstock.  The largest egg is created using Spring Parade Paper and Journey Ovals.
Using the Journey Ovals and Favorite Peeps Stamp Set again I created this card.  Instead of Pattern Paper, I used the Bright Day Journey Washi Tape and created the pattern for the egg.
This time, I used the chick with the glasses.  I cut him from Banana Cream Cardstock and stamped with Citrus Cooler Ink.  I added some Journey Glaze to his glasses to add some dimension.

Thanks for hopping to my blog.  Please head over to Sharon's blog to see what she has to share." If you happen to get lost along the way here is the list of Blogs participating in the Hop..
