Hello Crafty Friends,

It is the last day of January and where did the month go?  2019 has kicked off it seems faster than any year before.   How you doing on your goals?

Today I have two cards to share with you.  I had this thought in my head when I saw this embossing folder, I was surprised how well my idea came out.

I thought the embossing folder would be cute as a sweater.    Don't you think.

I embossed with the Cozy Knit Embossing Folder a piece of Bubble Gum Cardstock and piece of aPool Play Cardstock for the sweater part.
I then sliced the top and bottom about 1 1/2 inches from the top in the middle with my paper cutter.  I then bent the pieces back to create the collar.  I held them down with a glue dot.
I then added the Sweet Candy Drops for buttons.
I stamped the sentiment from the Stay Cozy stamp set on Whip Cream Cardstock and detail cut it out.

Here is a closer look at each one:

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I have another love card.  You could use it for Valentine's Day, or you could use it anytime actually.

To make the background, I first stamped the Fluttering Hearts Gel Impression Plate with Cranberry Bliss Ink on to Whip Cream Cardstock.  Then I stamped the Thread Sketch background stamp with Watermelon Fusion ink over the top of that.

I then die cut a heart from the Heart-felt Die set from Whip Cream cardstock.  I then stamped the sentiment from the Love Bandit stamp set and hearts from the same set in Cranberry Bliss ink and Black Licorice ink/
I then added some bigger hearts by stamping the black outlined heart from the Love Bandit set with Black Licorice ink on Watermelon Fusion cardstock and the solid heart with Watermelon Fusion ink on Whip Cream cardstock.

To finish the card, I splattered Sparkle Silk over the card.  I also added some to the Watermelon Fusion heart.

All supplies are from Fun Stampers Journey and can be purchased here.

Welcome to the Stampin Friends Love Blog Hop

I hope you are having a great day.  Today we are hopping along with a love theme.  We hope you are inspired to create your own projects to celebrate your love.

I just love this Rose Swirl paper from the Through the Years Prints from Fun Stampers Journey.  Doesn't say love as well?

With a simple sentiment from the Annual Celebration stamp set in Sweet Berry Ink, it makes a lovely card.  The Special Day Organza Ribbon with the Love Bud Flower, the card is very elegant.

I loved the look so much that I translated this look onto a gift card holder.

I die cut the Gift Card Sleeve out of Watermelon Fusion Cardstock and using  the Layered Scallops Embossing Folder, created a background.  I hen layered the Through the Years Print over the top and tied a Special Days Organza Ribbon around.

I hope you enjoyed my projects! Don’t forget to leave me a comment to let me know how you liked my projects.
Please subscribe to my blog if you haven’t already and continue on the hop!

Hello Crafty Friends,

It has been cold and rainy in Southern California the past few days and supposed to be the rest of the week.  I love rainy days.
This past weekend, I played with my gel press.   I have another card to share with you.

The heart was done with a print from the gel press.    I first placed dots of reinkers in Bubble Gum, Watermelon Fusion and Cranberry Bliss.

I then used my brayer to blend the colors.  After they were blended, I pulled a print.

It is hard to see in the picture, but the heart is kind of ombre looking.

All Supplies are from Fun Stampers Journey.  You can purchase them here.
Stamp: Hearts and Bows ATC
Paper: Cranberry Bliss Cardstock, Pearled Basics Cardstock, Whip Cream Cardstock, Through the Years Printed Paper
Ink: Black Licorice
Accessories: Love Bud Paper Flowers

Hello Crafty Friends,

I had some time to play with the Gel Press yesterday.  Today, I want to show you one card I made with the prints I pulled.

I first started out by inking up the Gel press with Cranberry Bliss, Watermelon Fusion and Bubble Gum re-inkers.  I dropped  three drops of each in a row.

I then took my brayer and blended the colors together.    I pulled my print from these colors.

I then inked up the Fluttering Hearts Gel Impression with Cranberry Bliss ink pad.  I then pulled the print from here.

The background I achieved was wonderful.
I then added a half of a Journey Oval die cut, which I stamped Happy Valentine's Day with Black Licorice Ink.
Using the Hearts and Bows ATS, I stamped the bow with Black Licorice Ink on Cranberry Bliss Cardstock.  I then detail cut this out and added it to the front of the card.

I had fun making this card.  I hope you are inspired.

Supplies used are all from Fun Stampers Journey.  You can purchase them here.

Let's get to the card I have for you.  I love Disney and love Mickey Mouse, so I knew exactly who I was going to use.  Then I thought, why not a Valentine.
Here is what I came up with.

I used my Cricut to cut out Mickey and Minnie.   It take a little bit of patience to get all those little pieces into their spots.

I then cut out a heart from some cardstock I had on hand.  I stamped the sentiment with a stamp from Fun Stampers Journey.

I added an Organza Ribbon bow and a paper flower from Fun Stampers Journey to complete the card.  I love the way it turned out.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you got some inspiration.

Now be sure to hop over to Audrey's blog.

Hello Crafty Friends,

We are well on our way into the new year.  I am ready to get back to normalcy after the holidays.

Today I want to share with you a  Christmas gift I created for a dear friend.

It is a tag flip.  I was unfamiliar with the whole idea, but after some research,  I came up with this.

This is the front cover.  I went with a sweet theme.

This is a big die cut of the word Christmas.  She would be able to take it off and use it on a layout or whatever she chooses to use it on.

I created these bows with a new die I got from Spellbinders.  The peppermints are brads I had in my stash.

This was a tag with a pocket.  I stuffed the pocket with gift tags.

These are rosettes I made with some peppermint paper I had and added some more peppermint brads I had in my stash.

This is an envelope I created and then added some more tags inside for her to use.

This is another pocket page of the tag flip that I stuffed with die cut gingerbread tags and then decorated the flap with some smaller ones.

This is the last pocket.  Here I created some planner clips for her with hearts and coffee dies.  The coffee die is from Fun Stampers Journey.
