Hello Crafty Friends,

Happy First Day of Summer!  It is my first day of summer break and I am loving it.

Today I want to share a bookmark I made my for my pastor who loves Bob Ross.

Here is the first side.  I created the bookmark with Fresh Forest and Whip Cream Cardstock.  The background trees were created with Winter Holidays and Fresh Forest ink from Fun Stampers Journey.  I stamped the trees and the painter from Kindred Stamps with Black Momento ink.  I colored him with my copics.

I then made a back side.

I created the background with Orange Creamscicle and Whip Cream Cardstock.  I then stamped the painter and created a mask out of a post it note.  I then flicked the  Silks in Orange Rave, Beach Ball, Bubble Gum, Electric Lime and Sour Lemon.  I then colored the painter with my copics.

He loved it and I loved creating it.

 Hello Crafty Friends,

I can not believe it is time for challenge #194 at Crafty Gals Corner.  This month it is polka dots and stripes.

I received the chance to play with this quote from Coco Chanel, which inspired the card I created.

When I read the quote, I knew I had to have pearls on my card as well as a well dressed lady.  I think I did this quite well.
My polka dots are the pearls, as well as the dress of the lady on the right.  My stripes are the pattern paper on the card base.

Now it is your turn.  Make a card with polka dots and stripes and come join us at Crafty Gals Corner.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Fun Stampers Journey
Paper with ladies: Bo Bunny
Stripe paper: from my stash
Pearls: Liquid Pearls by Ranger

I had a little trouble with this theme this month.  Boy "stuff" is not my normal, but in the end I love what I created.

I started out by using my Cricut and "Create a Friend" cartridge.  I paper pieced the little guy together.
I then created the card using Butter Cream and Black Licorice Cardstock, with a layer of paper I found in my stash.
I then added some Reminisce Baseball stickers.

A very simple card, but I think a very cute card for a cute little baseball player.

Be sure to hop over to my friend Cindy's blog.

Here's our line up in case you get lost along the way.

Be sure to join us next month for our

Adventure Awaits Blog hop!

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I have a coffee card I created for a recent swap.

I created this card using stamps from Your Next Stamp.  I stamped the cup in Whip Cream Cardstock and Oatmeal Cookie Cardstock.  I then stamped the same cup on Pool Play, Lemon Grass and Rich Coral Cardstock.  I fussy cut the pieces and pieced them all together.
I die cut the circle with Journey Circles and Whip Cream Cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set onto the circle.
I layered the circle on top of the pattern paper I had in my stash and then layered that on a Whip Cream Cardstock card base.
To finish the card, I added a Whip Cream Thread bow.

Hello Crafty Friends,

It is June already?  How can it be.   Well, with a new month comes a new challenge at Love to Craft Challenge Blog.

Today I want to share a card holder I made with the Card Carrier Die from Fun Stampers Journey.

The carrier was made with Watermelon Fusion Cardstock.   I then added all the details.

The pattern paper is from the Playful Prints Prints and then a placed some Botanical Washi Tape and Silver Sparkle Washi Tape.
I then stamped the flamingo from the Tinkled Pink stamp set on Bubble Gum Cardstock.  I fussy cut the flamingo out and added it to the Journey Oval I had cut from Whip Cream Cardstock.

I added some depth to the flamingo, but adding some black pencil lines to the bottoms of the wings.

Then I stamped and fussy cut the leaves and trunk of the palm tree from Oatmeal Cookie and Limeade Splash Cardstock.

All the supplies are from Fun Stampers Journey and can be purchased here.
Thank you for stopping by.  Leave me a comment.
