Bitten By The Bug 2- Easter Baskets, Bags, and Boxes Oh My!

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today we have a new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2: Easter Baskets, Bags and Boxes.  This is my challenge and I knew exactly what I wanted to create.   This beautiful Exquisite Egg from Dreaming Tree.

I used the Easter Wishes Pattern Paper pack from Echo Park to create the egg and other solid cardstock I had on hand.

This is the picture of the rose close up.

This is a picture of the bottom of the egg on the pedestal.  The base was created using a piece of cardstock and the layered with a piece of Silver cardstock, and then a rosette for the top layer.

The egg top comes off and you can fill the inside with candies, gift cards, eggs, or whatever your heart desires.

This is looking into the egg.  The egg is pretty big and can be filled with lots of goodies.

I hope you will create your own basket, bag or box for Easter and share it with us on our challenge blog.  You can click here to join.

Dreaming Tree Easter Card

Hello Crafty Friends,

I have a very simple card for you today, which is a free download at Dreaming Tree, my new favorite addiction.

The file cuts everything you need.  The only thing you have to do is draw in his eyes and his mouth.

The inside of the card looks like this:

The only thing I did not do was put the background behind the Happy Easter.  I just chose not to include it.

Easter Basket with Eggs

Hello Crafty Friends,

I hope today you are doing fine.  Today I have a fun Easter card to share with you.

All Supplies are from Fun Stampers Journey.

I first started the card with a piece of Banana Cream Cardstock.  I then die cut the background out of Pool Play Cardstock using the Lots of Dots Die set.
I then die cut the poloroid like shape with the Snapshot Frames die set and Oatmeal Cookie Cardstock.  I then added a piece vellum to the frame.
I then die cut the three eggs from the Journey Ovals from Pretty Amethyst, Cool Pool and pattern paper from a retired Spring set from last year.  I added a piece of Special Day Organza ribbon around the Cool Pool egg and a piece of Grape Fusion Cardstock that I die cut with a border die from Lawn Fawn.
I placed the eggs in the frame and die cut the grass from Border Details and Limeade Splash Cardstock.
I finished the card by cutting a banner from Banana Cream Cardstock and stamping the sentiment from Annual Celebration Stamp set with River Stone ink.

Thanks for stopping back.  Please leave me a comment.

Happy Easter

Hello Crafty Friends,

We are in the midst of a shelter in place order here in California.  As a virtual teacher, it is not bothering us too much.  This week we are on Spring Break, so as a crafter, I am loving all the time I have to craft.  What about you?

Today I would like to share an unique Easter card.  I say unique because to me green is not an usual color for Easter, but I like the way the card came out.

All supplies are from Fun Stampers Journey and include the new die set, Bunny Trio.  The dies set comes with the word Happy Easter, so it is a great card making set.

Chocolate Easter Bunnies

Hello Crafty Friends,

I have a very simple Easter card for today with one of my favorite things, Chocolate!  I am sorry I can't send the real thing to you, but we can share virtually?

I started by placing a piece of pattern paper from Echo Park's Easter Wishes on a piece of Whip Cream Cardstock from Fun Stampers Journey.  I then die cut a Scallop border from the Border Basics Die set with Banana Cream Cardstock.  I added the border to the back of a strip of Whip Cream Cardstock.
I then die cut from Cocoa Power Cardstock the three bunnies from the Bunny Trio dies set.
To finish the card, I added the twine to the bunnies necks to match the bunnies on the paper.

Easter Flower Card

Hello Crafty Friends,

Now that St. Patrick's Day is over it is now time to think about those Easter cards.  I found this idea on Pinterest and just made it work for me.

I saw this card first made with ribbon across the front, but thought, why not use paper.
It is hard to see from the picture, but the front panel piece is embossed with an embossing folder from Spellbinders (retired).
I then used Bubble Gum and Watermelon Fusion Cardstock from Fun Stampers Journey to make the rolled flowers.  I just cut them by hand from a 3 x 3 square piece of cardstock.  I used hot glue to adhere them together and then used the hot glue to adhere them to the card.
To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Peep Peep ATS stamp from Fun Stampers Journey in River Stone ink and added it to the bottom right corner.

Thank you for stopping by.  Please leave me a comment.
