Crafty Gals Corner- Challenge #241 Make ir Green

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today we have a new challenge at Crafty Gals Corner.  We are in the midst of March, so what better way to celebrate than to celebrate with some Green.  The challenge this month is "Make it Green".

I got to play with this fun Leprechaun from The Paper Shelter.

Here is the card I created:

I haven't made too many rocker cards and since the image was so large, I thought it would be fun to place him on a rocker card.

I colored the image with my Copic Markers:

Hair: YR09, YR04, E09

Skin: E21, E00, E000, R20

Outfit: YG67, YG17, YG25, G28

Shoes and Pipe: C7, C5, C3

Vest: Y19, Y15

Shamrocks: YG17, YG13, YG11

Grass: YG67, YG17

Coins: YR23, Y15, Y13

Pot: 100, C9, C7, C5, C3, C1

Here is a close up of the Leprechaun himself:

Now it is your turn.  Join the challenge at Crafty Gals Corner with your own Green project!

Lucky to have you

Hello Crafty Friends,

It's the weekend!  Yeah!  I love the weekends.  It is a time of rest and relaxation after a busy week.  One of things I love to do on the weekends is craft and with St. Patrick's Day coming, I have been busy making cards.

Today I have a simple St. Patrick's Day card with lots of colors.

I started with a Whip Cream piece of cardstock from Fun Stampers Journey.  I then placed a piece of green dot pattern paper from Doodlebug.  I then placed the icon piece down on the card front also from Doodlebug.
I then took a strip of Black Licorice Sparkle Tape and a strip of Lemon Drop Sparkle tape to the side of the card, both from Fun Stampers Journey.
To finish the card, I added a few Candy Drops to the card front from Fun Stampers Journey.

Thanks for stopping by.  Please leave me a comment.

Love St. Patrick's Day

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I want to share another simple St. Patrick's Day I created with Doodlebug Designs paper and icons.

I thought the background with the plaid and the shamrock pattern paper was busy enough, so I did not add too much.
I adhered the pattern paper down on to the Limeade Splash cardstock card base from Fun Stampers Journey.  I then wrapped and tied a bow with the Whip Cream Thread from Fun Stampers Journey.
To finish the card, I added the icon piece to the right side of the card.

Thanks for stopping by.  Please leave me a comment.

St. Patrick's Day- Make a wish

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a simple but cute card with you to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

Do you send out cards for St. Patrick's Day?  I don't but I had some Doodlebug Design paper left over from last year and rather it go to waste, I made up some quick and easy cards and I want to share the first one with you today.

The base of the card is a piece of Limeade Splash Cardstock from Fun Stampers Journey.  I then added a small block of the shamrocks in rows on the left side of the card.  Next I cut a strip of Whip Cream Cardstock from Fun Stampers Journey and wrapped a piece of Lemon Drop Satin Ribbon around the Whip Cream piece and added that to the card.
To finish the card I cut out the card from the large card sheet in the Doodlebug collection and using foam squares, popped the sentiment up on the card.

Easy Peasy!  I hope you got some ideas from this card.

Thanks for stopping by.  Please leave me a comment.

Hello Crafty Friends,

This week is St. Patrick's day and I have some cards I created to celebrate.
The first one I am going to share is one that was very fun to create.  I also tried something new.

I stamped the large shamrock from theI'm Lucky ATS with Lemon Grass Splash ink on Butter Cream Cardstock.  I then matted this onto Lemon Grass Cardstock.  I then used the Journey Corner Rounder to create the notches on either side.  I then wrapped Lemon Grass Thread around the card and tied a piece of Limeade Splash Satin Ribbon.
I stamped the sentiment from All Year Long stamp set with Black Licorice ink onto Butter Cream Cardstock.  I then cut the banner end on one side and adhered the piece to the card.
To finish the card I splattered Sparkle and Electric Lime silk to the whole card.

All supplies are from Fun Stampers Journey and can be purchased here.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

3/15/18 Stampin Friends Blog Hop

Image may contain: textWelcome to the Stampin Friends Blog Hop!  This month's theme is No Rules.   If you are following along with the hop, you should have arrived from  Jenny's blog.

This month I decided to share with you some St. Patrick's Day fun, since that is the next holiday.  Now that I have my own house, I am loving creating projects to decorate with for the holidays.  I will share my project soon, but first, let me share the card I created.

The paper with the shamrock is our Through the Years Prints, that I just fussy cut till I got the area I wanted.  I then stamped my images and colored in the hat with my Color Burst pencils and did some blending with the Fusion Blender.

Now, for the project.  I created the wooden shamrock that I found at Joanne's with the other side of the Through the Years printed paper.

It is hard to tell from the picture, but I added some Sparkle Silk to the whole hat.   I also splattered some over the whole project.
I hope you have found inspiration with my card and projects.  Remember to continue on the hop for more inspiration by going to Elizabeth's Blog next.

We have a giveaway this week, so make sure you comment on each blog to be entered to win.

2/23/18

Hello Crafty Friends,

Well, Valentine's Day is over, so now it is time to start creating for St. Patrick's Day.  Today I have a card I created to send to someone I am lucky to know.

The clover was stamped using the "kissing technique".  First, you ink up the stamp and then before you stamp it, I used the small shamrock and took ink from the clover.  Then after I did each petal, I then stamped the clover onto the Whip Cream Cardstock.  You can faintly see the image of the little shamrock on the big clover petals.

This technique works well with a silhouette image.  Try it!

Supplies Used:
Stamp: Pot of Gold, I'm Lucky
Paper: Whip Cream Cardstock, Limeade Splash Cardstock
Ink: Kiwi Slice, Black Licorice
Silk: Gold
Accessories: Journey Sparkle Dust, Journey Glaze
