C is for Cherry Blossoms

I love pink.  I love flowers, so today C stands for Cherry Blossoms.  Cherry Blossoms are so delicate and so "spring".
I would love to walk through this garden on Cherry Blossom trees.

My card was created using Bubble Gum cardstock as the base.  I then took a slightly smaller piece of Watermelon Fusion and stamped the Script background stamp with Sweet Berry Ink.  I added this piece to the base of the card.
I then cut a strip of Bubble Gum cardstock and added this piece and a doily to the card using foam squares.  On the Whip Cream cardstock, I stamped the blossom branch from Lantern Treats using Watermelon Fusion ink, using the second generation technique.
To achieve this technique with Fun Stampers Journey Hybrid inks, you ink up your stamp and before you stamp on the cardstock, you stamp on another block;  then you stamp onto the cardstock.  This achieves a more softer look.
After stamping the cherry blossoms, I then added pearls to each of the blossoms.
I then die cut a Treat Label with Whip Cream Cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment from the Banner Wishes set in Watermelon Fusion ink.
To finish the card, I added a Heart Sparkle Drop to the top of the Treat Label.  Enjoy!

  1. So pretty with the cherry blossoms! My mom would talk fondly about visiting the cherry blossoms blooming in Washington, DC in the springtime.
