I'm Sticking Around

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I have a fun card to send to someone who needs to know you are there for them.

The frog is stuck to the back of the acetate piece which is attached to the back of the window which I cut with the Window View Die from Spellbinders.

I would be scared to death if there was a frog that size on my window, but hey this one is cute and have a great message for the recipient.

All supplies are from Spellbinders and can be purchased here.

Celebrate Birthday Card

Hello Crafty Friends,

I hope you are doing well whereever you are.  There is some crazy weather all over right now.  Here in Southern California we have been having a heat wave.  It has been too hot to do anything else but stay in and craft.  I am not mad!

Today I want to share with you a fun birthday card we made at my August card classes.

Here is what I used:
Pattern Paper and Cardstock: Fun Stampers Journey
Scallop Die: Fun Stampers Journey
Ice Cream Cone stamp and dies: Doodlebug Designs
It's Your Day Stamp: Queen and Co.
Celebrate die: Queen and Co.

I am loving the new dies from Queen and Company called Sentiment Stackers.  I can't wait to use them more.
The technique I used for this card was the kissing technique on the frosting and cone.
The kissing technique is when you take a silhouette stamp, ink it up and stamp it with a pattern stamp before stamping it on your paper.  For the frosting I used Thread Sketch and the cone, Canvas Print.

All Fun Stampers Journey supplies can be purchased here.

On An Adventure with a Submarine

Hello Crafty Friends,

I have another card to share with you that we did at my last card class.  I continued to use acetate on this card as well.

The background was created by swiping Blue Lagoon ink across the Beach Ball Cardstock.  I also added a little bit of Whip Cream ink on the edge of the torn piece of cardstock.
I cut the "trench" with the In Motion die.
I punched the windows out with a standard hole punch and add a piece of acetate to the back with tape.
This was a fun card and quite a hit.

All supplies are from Fun Stampers Journey and can be purchased here.

Hello Card

Hello Crafty Friends,

Well, school is officially started and I have had no time to craft.  I hope to get back on schedule and be able to get back to crafting.

Today I want to share a card I created for my August Card Class.

This was a no stamping card.

The card should have no white background and be able to see through the card, but after asking my mom what she thought, she thought that it needed a piece of white card stock behind the acetate so when you write a message you won't see it from the front.

All supplies are from Fun Stampers Journey and can be purchased here.

Fabulous Card

Hello Crafty Friends,

I can not believe that we are in August already and that means that I am going back to work soon.  I have had a jammed packed summer, so maybe it is a good thing?  I will be able to get back to a regular routine and getting back to a normal schedule.

Today I have a card to share that I recently created with an image that I colored maybe a year ago.

I had fun coloring this image with my Copics.

The card was created using Cardstock from Fun Stampers Journey, pattern paper from Authentique, Sparkle Washi tape from Fun Stampers Journey and a paper doily I had in my stash.

The sentiment is from Text Happy from Fun Stampers Journey.

Love to Craft Challenge Blog

Hello Crafty Friends,

It is a new month and new challenge over at the Love to Craft Challenge Blog.  The theme is always Anything Goes, so I hope you will join us.

For this month, I have been working on my Disney Scrapbook, so I have a layout to share with you.

I used my Cricut to cut out the Woody character and the name plate.   I used paper from my stash to complete the layout.

I hope you will join the challenge over on the blog.  You can link here.
