Pixar Parade Layout

Hello Crafty Friends,

As you know, I have been working on my Disney album.  So, today I have a layout to share with you.

I used The Best of Pixar and Cars Cricut cartridges to cut the images.  A little secret, I use stickers for Mater and Lightning McQueen because those were going to be small pieces.  I will cut out bigger ones for another layout.

Lobster Card

Hello Crafty Friends,

I have another card I created for our recent swap.  The theme was Under the Sea.

I started by embossing the background with the embossing folder, Layered Scallops.  I then took the Beach Ball ink pad and rubbed it over the top to create the background.

I then stamped the lobster with Cranberry Bliss ink on Citrus Cooler Cardstock.  I then added this to the circle I cut out from Cool Pool Cardstock which I stamped with the sentiment.

I wrapped from Natural Twine around the whole card and tied a bow.   To finish the card I added a few blue sequins.

All supplies are from Fun Stampers Journey.

Unique Card

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I want to share with you a card I created for a recent swap I was a part of.  The theme was use something or do something unique on your card.   I knew exactly what I was going to use.

A few years back, maybe more like 10 years ago, I visited a scrapbook shop and purchased a package of 100% elephant dung paper.  You read that right, elephant dung.  The paper is made of elephant poop.  I bought it because it helped raise money for a charity.

Here is the card I created:

The sunset background is created with the Elephant Dung paper.
3I then stamped the Lighthouse from the stamp set Bright Side from Fun Stampers Journey and colored it with my Copics: R59, R46, E47 and E43
I used cardstock from Fun Stampers Journey.

Golf Card

Hello Crafty Friends,

It is finally the weekend and I get to scrap with my girls this weekend.   I so look forward to our monthly crop, so I can be creative with my peeps.

Today I have a card I created for a masculine card swap we had at our crop.

I cut the golf player with my Cricut and the Create a Friend cartiridge.

One thing I tried on this card was the fake grass paper I found a long time ago and finally made a card with this year.

Welcome Baby

Hello Crafty Friends,

Doesn't seem like everyone is having babies and getting pregnant lately?  I guess it is only me.

So, I thought I better have some baby cards ready.

Here is the card I created.

This card is a double-z card.  Here is what the inside looks like:

I actually really like the color combo I used.  It is also great for a couple that do not know what the gender of the baby is.

All Supplies are from Fun Stampers Journey, except for the pattern paper.  The pattern paper is from Simple Stories.

With Sympathy

Hello Crafty Friends,

I hope you are having a great day.  Today I would like to share a Sympathy card.  Sometimes these are the hardest cards to create.

I tried something new on this card.  I used the Sentiment Stacks dies from Queen and Company and some Fun Foam.
The sentiment was first cut with the Purple Fun Foam for the background and then I die cut the words from Whip Cream Cardstock.  I then layered them.  I love the way it looks, but also it gives dimension at the same time.
The succulent on the card was a new technique to me.  I inked up the stamp with Fresh Sage and then took a dauber and sponged a little bit of Lavendar Fusion to the leaves.  Then a stamped the image on Whip Cream Cardstock.

All supplies are from Fun Stampers Journey except the sentiments.

Hello Crafty Friends,

I am so glad it is Saturday.  I love Saturdays.  I like when I can scrapbook on Saturdays.

Today I want to share with you a layout I did of Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story for my Disney album.

I used my Cricut to cut our Buzz and his title.  He was a little hard because of all the small pieces, but I like they way he came out.
