Floral Altered Box

Every time I spend time with my crafty friends, I always get inspired to be creative.  Today was no different.  I had started the paper covering part of the box previously.  Today I finished it.
The paper and embellishments came from the Lost and Found collection from My Mind's Eye.
This is the top of the box.  I love birds, so I had to bling out the bird cage.  I also tried something new.  I created a flower using a zipper.  The zipper came off the roll pretty curly, so making the flower was easy.  Here is a closer look at the zipper flower.
The inside of the box was covered with another pattern piece of paper from the same line.  I liked the scalloped ends of the paper, so I used it for the the sides of the inside.
The handle that was on the box was bamboo and I didn't think it went with my theme, so I changed the handle out for an off-white scalloped ribbon.  I really like the way it came out.  I hope you enjoy!
