Pink Flowers

Today, I am starting a month long theme of flowers.  Since the saying goes, April Showers bring May Flowers.  So, I thought it would be a great month to show off projects with flowers.
Today's card is a flower created with my favorite color...Pink!
The base of the card is Butter Cream Cardstock and it's layered with Vintage Paris Pattern Paper.  I cut a piece of the Vintage Paris Paper to fit the card front and one that is a strip measuring 2 1/2 x 5 3/8.  I then took a piece of Oatmeal Cookie Satin Ribbon and a piece of Cocoa Powder Gingham Ribbon around the card base.
On a piece of Butter Cream cardstock measuring 3 x 2 1/2, I stamped the stem and leaves for the flower from the set Wonderful Day with Kiwi Slice ink.  I then took a colored pencil and colored in the leaves and stems.  I adhered this to the card using foam squares.
On a piece of Bubble Gum Cardstock, I stamped the flower again but with Cocoa Powder ink.  I detail cut the flowers and attached them to the card with adhesive for the outer ones and foam squares for the one in the middle.
I then took a piece of Natural Journey Twine and wrapped around the ribbons and tied it into a bow.  I then took another piece and threaded it through a Wooden Accent button and attached it to the card.
Then, I cut a piece of Butter Cream Cardstock measuring 3/4 x 4, stamped with the sentiment from Little Big Greetings set with Cocoa Powder ink.
To finish the card, I added Journey Glaze to the flowers.  Enjoy!
