Yellow Dahlia

Today I have a bright and cheery card to share.  Yellow is such a bright color and a dahlia flower is just beautiful!
The base of the card is Cool Pool Cardstock.  I stamped the Linked Dots background with Cool Pool ink.  I then tore the bottom of the card.
I then cut a piece of Bubble Gum Cardstock and a piece of Spring Parade Pattern Paper slightly smaller and adhered them together.  I adhered these two pieces to the card base.  Next, I cut a piece of Bubble Gum and cut a banner in the end.  I distressed the edges of the Bubble Gum Cardstock with Bubble Gum ink and stamped the sentiment from Little Big Greetings in River Stone ink.
I then stamped the Dahlia Burst three times in River Stone ink on Lemon Drop Cardstock and detail cut the images.  I adhered the flower pieces with foam squares and adhered the flower to the card with foam squares.
To finish the card, I wrapped and tied in a knot, Whip Cream Thread.  I then added a Black and White Buttons to the top and tied another knot.  Enjoy!

  2. If it weren't for the A to Z Blog Challenge I wouldn't have found you to follow. Missing my own paper crafts, but hope this summer to blog less and craft more. In the meantime, enjoying your creations.
