Double Gate fold

Today I am sharing a card because even though I love winter, it has been too cold for me in Southern California.  In the last few weeks we have had about 10 inches of rain in my area.  The temperature last night was in the 40's.  That is way too cold for this So. Cal girl.
Let me start thinking of spring now!

Side view
The background was created using the Kiwi Slice, ink pad direct to paper.
It's hard to see, but I added some Journey Glaze to the jar for texture.
I also stamped the sentiment, "I hope thistle cheer you up" (included in the stamp), in Rock Candy ink on the inside.

Stamp: Thistle
Paper: Kiwi Slice Cardstock, Limeade Splash Cardstock, Whip Cream Cardstock

FSJ Leadership Recap

Last weekend I attended the first Leadership Conference for Fun Stampers Journey.  What a great time of learning, fun, food and fellowship.  Here are some highlights of the conference.

Thursday was all about creating.  Here are the three cards we created.

The little bandit moves on the slider.

Here is the next card we created using some of the neon colors from the Be Amazing Collection.

The last card we created features a new stamp set coming in July 2017!  Shhh....a sneak peak!

Friday was all about learning.  Many great breakout sessions and ideas shared with other coaches.  The highlight of Friday was the experience provided by Fun Stampers Journey, riding the High Roller.  If you know me, I am scared of heights, so I was not that thrilled to take part, but I did it.

This is a picture of me at the very top (550 ft in the air).  Facing my fear!
Now that I am back on solid ground, I am glad I did it.  Would I do it again, maybe.

Saturday was more learning and more fun.  Here are some highlights.
Richard and Dustin are going on a road trip.  This will be a great time for local coaches to connect with Richard.
Aren't these the cuties?  These are made with a new die, but the cutest part are the faces, which can be earned by having a $400 Make It Party.  Love the little piggy.

Even though we had lots of learning to do, I also got to do a fun things.  The first one was meeting up with some long time friends for lunch.

And, got to eat twice at Whalburgers.

The last place before leaving Las Vegas, was breakfast at Cracker Barrel.  My first time and I loved it.

Fun Stampers Journey is more than a stamp company.  It is a family of crafters who love to create and have fun.  Would you like to be a part of this group?  If so, we have a great offer going on right now.  You can use this certificate for $50 off your started kit, now through February 28th.

Let me know.  I would love for you to join my team!  You can email me at pinkzebrapapercreations@gmail.com   You will love it!!

Can You Case It? #145

Hi friends!  Thanks for stopping by my little creative hangout.  Today I have card for the Can You Case It? challenge.  We have a color challenge for you today.  Here is the card I created.

The colors do not show as well as they do in person.   The snowflakes and sentiment are in Grape Fusion Ink.  I wish the picture was better.

I created the background by masking the right half with post-its and then stamped the snowflakes.  Before removing the post-it's I rubbed Whip Cream ink over the snowflakes to lighten them up.

I hope you will join us with the challenge:

Faith Friday 1/13/17

Today is Friday and that means Faith Friday.
Today I want to share with you a page from my Bible.

I love the picture that is created when you read John 15, about the Father being the Vine.  This is such a great reminder that to be fruitful, you have to stay connected to the Father.  This helps me to remember the importance of daily reading and studying of my Bible.   I hope today's Bible Journaling project encourages you to stay connected as well.
To create the vine, I used some of the leaf stickers from Bible Prints and then drew my own vine with a black pen.   I then drew in my own grapes and colored everything with the Color Burst Pencils.

Supplies Used:
Sticker: Bible Prints

Welcome to my blog.  I am glad you stopped by.

Today is Friday and last year I started Faith Friday's but very quickly was not able to continue because of life being busy.  This year, I am going to be better with that.

Today's card is to encourage you to have faith.

One of my goals for this year is to have a little more faith.  Faith is hard.  Faith takes work each and every day.  I saw a graphic on Facebook the other day that said FAITH stands for  Forwarding All Issues To Heaven!  I thought that was a great way to remember to have faith.  I hope that encourages you in your walk.

Supplies Used:
Stamp: Through the Storm
Paper: Cool Pool Cardstock, Black Licorice Cardstock, Summer Romance Pattern Paper
Ink: Black Licorice ink.
Other: River Stone Satin Ribbon, Journey Sequins-Blue Skies.
