Stmpin Friends February Blog Hop- Brighten Your Day

Hello Crafty Friends,

Welcome to the Stampin Friends Blog Hop.  This month and the theme is Birthday Celebration. If you are following along the hop, you should have arrived from Maureen Rauchfuss' blog.  Make sure to read through my blog, comment below and then continue to Heidi Collins blog.

If you get lost along the way, you can find a list of Blog Hoppers at the end of each blog.

Here are the projects I created for our Brighten Your Day theme.

Up first is the card I created.

I had so much creating this card.  I first created the card base with solid cardstock from Fun Stampers Journey and pattern paper from Kindred Stamps.  I then colored the characters with my Copics:

Cowboy:

Face: E11, E00, E000                                    Hat, Boots and Belt: E99, E15

Hair and Hat band: E27, E25                        Jeans: B97, B95

Shirt and Buckle:  YR24, YR23                    Mouth: R8

Scarf: R27                                                      Vest: 100

Space Cowboy:

Face: E00, E11                                        Space Suit: Vo6, YG25, 100, R29

Helmet: C3, C1, C00

I stamped the sentiment from the Toy Box stamp set from Kindred Stamps along with the images with Black Licorice ink on Whip Cream Cardstock, both from Fun Stampers Journey.

For my project I created a matching bookmark.

Together I hope they brighten the recipients day!
