Hello Crafty Friends,

I am sharing another card from my April Card Class today.

The base of the is Whip Cream Cardstock.  On this base piece, I used Pool Play PanPastel and a frame stencil to create the background.
I then stamped the flowers from the Spring Botanicals stamp set with Citrus Cooler, Watermelon Fusion and Lemon Drop ink.  I then used the matching die to cut the flowers out.  I also die cut the Detail Foliage Die from Whip Cream Cardstock and the word thanks from the Designer Frames die cut set with Pool Play Cardstock.
I then added each of the pieces to the card base, using a foam square to pop up the orange flower.

All supplies are from Fun Stampers Journey and can be purchased here.

Let it snow, let it snow, let is snow

Hello Crafty friends,

Christmas is over for another year and now we can start looking forward to the new year.  I have always wanted a white Christmas, but living in Southern California, we do not get those.
I can always dream right?
Today's card is for that dream.
This is a fun technique.  First you stamp the snowflakes onto the paper using Clear Pigment ink.  Then you take the light blue PanPastel from the Party Pop set and a soft tool and rub it over the whole piece of paper.  The snowflakes come to life.  Add the sentiment, some sparkle tape and some rhinestones and you have very simple and easy card.

Supplies Used:
Stamp: Snow Burst
Paper: Beach Breeze Cardstock, Whip Cream Cardstock
Ink: Clear Pigment, Beach Breeze
PanPastels: Party Pop
Accessories: Rhinestones, Pool Play Sparkle Tape, Whip Cream Sparkle Tape

I am Thankful for....

Hello Crafty Friends,

First, I want to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.  I hope you are enjoying time with your family and friends.  I hope you are eating lots of great food.  I hope that you are thinking about those things you are thankful for.
I personally think, that we do not thank those we love more.  I think we should be thanking those around us, more than just the month of November.  There are lots of things to be thankful for.

I have a card today that is very meaningful on this Thanksgiving day.

I created this card using Autumn Days stamps with Clear Pigment Ink on the Butter Cream and using a variety of PanPastels to bring the leaves to life.
I want to challenge you to thank those around you that you are thankful for.

Journey Blog Hoppers- Make Amazing

Image may contain: text

Welcome to the Journey Blog Hoppers Hop! We will be Bringing Paper to Life with Amazing Projects.  I'm so happy you're hoppin' along.

If you have arrived here from Carol's blog, you're on the right track.  If not, that's ok too! Just continue the hop and you'll come full circle!

I used this project from the Fun Stampers Journey blog for inspiration:

Notice the matching splatter on the card and tag?  It is very easy to make.  It is made using Pan Pastel and Sparkle Silk.   Just scrap some of the PanPastel onto a block.  Then pour a small amount of Sparkle Silk onto the block and mix them together.  Then pick up the mixture with a Blender Pen and splatter it onto the card.  Fun little technique!

Thank you from stopping by today.  Please be sure to head over to Glenda's blog next.

Stampin Friends Fall Blog Hop

No automatic alt text available.

Welcome to the Stampin Friends Blog Hop!  This month's theme is Fall.  If you are following along with the hop, you should have arrived from  Cindy Waldroff's blog.

Don't forget to click the Next button at the bottom to continue on the hop with Barbara Welch's blog.
This month's theme was Fall.  This is my favorite season because of the colors.  I couldn't wait to get started.
First, I would like to share my card I created.

I created this card using the Harvest Wreath and Autumn Days stamp sets.  The leaves were stamped with Clear Pigment Ink and then colored with Pan Pastels.  The background was created using the words from the Harvest Wreath Stamp set, stamping on the right side of the card with different colors.
I had so much fun created the card, that I decided to create a scrapbook page too.

The leaves on the right hand side of the page, I created using the Gel Press.  I first added Pomegranate Splash ink to the Gel press.  Then I dropped a few drops of Citrus Cooler and Dark Roast.  I then used the Brayer to "spread" the colors around.  I then pulled a print.  I used this print to stamp the leaves and cut them out.
I am in love with this scrapbook page.  I am so in love that I will be teaching a class on this layout in November.

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Harvest Wreath, Autumn Days
Paper: Tangerine Fusion Cardstock, Hazelnut Blend Cardstock, Fall Fest Pattern Paper, Butter Cream Cardstock, Oatmeal Cookie Cardstock
Ink: Hazelnut Blend, Pomegranate Splash, Tangerine Fusion, Clear Pigment
Silk: Citrus Cooler, Dark Roast
Dies: Border Basics, Notebook Page
Pan Pastels:  Rich Sorbet, Mother Nature
Accessories: Tangerine Fusion Gingham Ribbon, Oatmeal Cookie Satin Ribbon, Natural Journey Twine
Tools: Gel Press, Brayer

I used Lavender Fusion ink to ink up the whole flower and then I went back and added bits of Grape Fusion to areas of the flower, to add texture.

To finish the card, I added Journey Glaze to the flower and leaves and dusted them with Journey Sparkle Dust.

Supplies Used:
Cardstock: Grape Fusion Cardstock, Whip Cream Cardstock

CYCI #162 Sketch Challenge

Hello Crafty Friends!
Today we have a new challenge over at the Can You Case it Facebook group.  It is a sketch challenge and I always love sketch challenges.
Here is the card I created:

I used Rich Coral Cardstock, Whip Cream Cardstock and Under the Sea Pattern Prints to create the base of my card and layers.
I then stamped the crab from Snappy Birthday using Rich Coral ink on Whip Cream Cardstock and detail cut him out.  I also stamped the sentiment on another piece of Whip Cream Cardstock.
Before I added the crab to the card, I used the Hazelnut Blend Pan Pastel (coming July 1st) to create the background of sand.

I hope you will join us with this challenge:

Faith Friday 6/23/17

Hello crafty friends!
Today, I have a Bible Journaling page I want to share with you.

I love the way this page turned out.  I wanted it to be dramatic because of the subject of the verse.
To create this page:
1. I die cut the Color Cross die out of a piece of scrap cardstock.  I then held it in place with a piece of washi tape.
2. I then took the Pomegranate Splash PanPastel from the Mother Nature set and created the shadow around the cross.
3. I took the Cranberry Bliss Silk and brushed it on starting at the die cut and working out.

Supplies Used:
Dies: Color Cross
Silk: Cranberry Bliss
PanPastel: Mother Nature
