Hello Crafty Friends,
Welcome to the Stampin Friends Blog Hop. This month and the theme is Birthday Celebration. If you are following along the hop, you should have arrived from Maureen Rauchfuss' blog. Make sure to read through my blog, comment below and then continue to Melissa Thomas' blog.
If you get lost along the way, you can find a list of Blog Hoppers at the end of each blog.
Here are the projects I created for our Birthday Celebration theme.
Up first is the card I
created.
I used pattern paper from We are Memory Keepers, Cake and Candles he Card Square die- Flip It's #2 from Sizzix to create the base of my card.
Here is a picture of the card totally flat.
I then used the Birthday Before and After stamp set from Lawn Fawn and colored with my Copics to make the birthday cake front.
Candles: B24
Flames: Y15
Cake: Y23, Y21
Icing: G46, G43, G40
Decoration: YR18
I placed the cake on the front and stamped the sentiment with Black ink on the panel.
I colored two of the cakes exactly the same, so that I could make a matching tag to place on the gift.
I used the Tag die from Spellbinders and the same pattern paper from We are Memory Keepers to create the tag. I added a white organza ribbon to the top of the tag.
Here are both projects together. Fun and festive for a man or woman.
Thank you for stopping by. Please leave me a comment and then continue onto
Melissa Thomas' blog.
