Sweet Day Scrapbook Layout

Here is the fifth project I entered in the Los Angeles Fair.  This was the only scrapbook layout I entered.  Here is how I made it.
First, I used Bubble Gum 12 x12 Cardstock as the base for my layout.  I cut strips of paper from Yummy Prints and Cardstock in Beach Ball and Grape Fusion in different lengths and widths to create the flags down the right side and top left side.  I anchored these to a strip of Pool Play Cardstock and Sweet Pear Cardstock.
Next, I cut pieces of Whip Cream Cardstock to be used as mats for the pictures.
I stamped the sentiment from the Yummy and Delicious Stamp Set in Grape Fusion Ink in the top right corner.
Using Bubble Gum Satin Ribbon and tying Whip Cream Thread every inch, I created the ribbon embellishments on the top left and down the right side.  I attached these to my layout using hot glue.
To create the Layout Title, I cut out letters on my Cricut from the sprinkle paper in the Yummy Prints Paper Pack.
To finish off the layout I threaded a pink heart button from the Journey Color Buttons II pack with Whip Cream Thread and placed it in the left corner area.  Lastly, I added some Candy Dots next to the photo mats on the left bottom area, the top right area and across the flag on the bottom.
I am looking forward to seeing if I win anything for my layout.  Stay tuned because I will be doing a recap post about all my fair entries soon after Sept. 7th.  Enjoy!
