Hello Crafty Friends,

I shared a card a few days ago that I think is my all time favorite card for this year.  Today I want to share a card I made with the same set, Winter Scene.

The middle scallop piece actually opens also.  I little twist on a regular card.  You could place a special message or gift card in there.

To create a shaped card, you just die cut the shape out of a piece of cardstock that is folded in half.  Just make sure that part of the blade of the die is off the paper, thus making the hinge.

All supplies are from Fun Stampers Journey.  You can purchase them here.

Stamp: Winter Scene
Cardstock, Whip Cream, Cool Pool, Cranberry Bliss
Ink: Black Licorice, Kiwi Slice, Hazelnut Blend
Dies: Journey Scallops, Winter Scene
Accessories: Whip Cream Thread

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I have a black and white card to share with you.

To cut a banner with two colors or papers is really quite easy.  When you go to cut the banner, match the two pieces together on the side you want to cut.  Then cut up the middle and then corner to top, and corner to top.  Then mat the smaller piece on the bigger piece.  There you go.

A very simple card, but I think that the black and white is a striking combo.

Supplies are all from Fun Stampers Journey.  You can purchase the supplies here.

Stamp: Stay Cozy
Cardstock: Black Licorice, Whip Cream
Ink: Black Licorice
Dies: Journey Scallops, Journey Circles

12/3/18

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I want to share a card I created for a Christmas Card Swap.

I curled the edges of the poinsettia petals with my crease tool/bone folder.  I like the way it gives life to the flower.

Sequins.  I love them, but they can be hard to tie a bow with.  Here is what I did.  I tied a knot around the organza bow with Whip Cream Twine.  I then looped the string of sequins and then laid it on top of the knot and then tied a knot on top.  Then tied the twine into a bow.    This is the only way I have figured out how to add a sequins bow.  If you have any tricks, please let me know.

Supplies Used:
Stamp: Holiday Script from Fun Stampers Journey
Paper: Cardstock from Fun Stampers Journey, Pattern Paper from DCWV Cranberry Christmas Pad.
Ink: Pomegrante Splash from Fun Stampers Journey
Dies: Holiday Script and Poinsetta Burst from Fun Stampers Journey.

You can get the supplies here.

Hello Crafty Friends,

I hope you are having a great week.  Can you believe it is almost the end of November?  Where has the month gone?  We are getting closer and closer to Christmas and the most wonderful time of the year.

Today I want to share a card with you that was a hit at my last card class and I think it was because of this cute little deer.

I made the candy cane background using the Stripe Band Die from Fun Stampers Journey and die cut from Cranberry Bliss Cardstock and layered it over a piece of Whip Cream Cardstock.

I attached the strip to the card with a little bit of glue and then used the Happy Holidays Washi Tape to the edges to help hold it down.  The deer is popped up over the die as well, helping to hold it on.

Supplies Used:  You can get the supplies here.
Stamp: Merry Everything from Fun Stampers Journey
Cardstock: Fun Stampers Journey

Hello Crafty Friends,

This past weekend I co-hosted a Halloween Crop.  One of the swaps I was a part of was a flip book.  I was under the impression that it was to be a photo album.  I soon found out that it is supposed to be a book full of goodies, etc.
Since I already had the book made, I added some goodies and called it a day.
The recipient said she loved it!  That made it all worth it.

Here is what I created:

Front Cover

Inside Front Cover
I included some images for the recipient to use in her projects.

I made two planner clips using my Cricut.

Inside Back Cover
I included some tags for the recipient to use

This is a full look at the book opened to show the three panels.

This is the middle panel on the inside back cover.

I hope you have found inspiration today.
