I then added each of the pieces to the card base, using a foam square to pop up the orange flower.

Hello Crafty Friends,

Easter is this week and I have my banner I created with Doodlebug Designs paper and embellishments.
Here is a close up look at the individual eggs.

I cut the eggs and the letters with my Cricut.   I used some of the icons from the paper line as my end cap pieces.
I then added some paper flowers I had in my collection.
To finish the banner, I tied the pieces together with a light blue tulle.

Now on to the card I created for today:

I have been loving make shaker cards this month and today I have another one, but with a twist.  I made it into a double shaker card.

The card base is created with Whip Cream Cardstock and a piece of Create and Bloom Pattern Paper.  I then cut a square (the same size as the cloud icon inside) out of the front panel of the card.  I then built the shaker open from the back of the front panel.
If you have never made a shaker card before it is very fun.

The standard layers of a shaker card are:
1. cardstock
2.acetate
3. Foam squares or strips are easier
4. Add your "sprinkles"
5. Another piece of Cardstock.  In the case of this card, I used another piece of acetate.

When finished, I had something that looked like this:

I then added the square icon from Doodlebug inside the card.

To finish the card, I added the sentiment on the front stamped with Black Licorice on Pool Play cardstock.
I hope you will try this type of card soon.

Be sure to hop over to Shannon's Blog.

Here's our line up in case you get lost along the way.

Hello Crafty Friends,

It's a new month and a new challenge at Love to Craft Challenge Blog.  It is always Anything Goes, but I had to make an Easter card because Easter is coming.

I actually found a card on Pinterest that I used for the layout of this card.
The whole card is put together on a piece of Banana Cream Cardstock.  I then added a piece of pattern paper from Create and Bloom Pattern Paper.  I then cut a doily in half and placed each half on either side.
I then wrapped a piece of Banana Cream Satin Ribbon around the card followed by a piece of Journey Natural Twine and tied this in a bow.
I then stamped the rabbits from Hippoty Hoppin stamp set with River Stone ink and colored the image using Journey Color Burst pencils.

All supplies are from Fun Stampers Journey and can be purchased here.
