Candy Corn Treat Box

Hello Crafty Friends,

It is almost Halloween and the thing I love the most about this season is Candy Corns.

We recently had a crop here at my house and the theme was candy corns.  I had to create this cute box from Dreaming Tree.

Here is a side view:

If you have not checked out Dreaming Tree, they have some of the cutest cut files.  This one was free and it was perfect for my treat swap.

The files were so easy to cut and everyone loved the little boxes.

Pumpkin Spice Everything

Hello Crafty Friends,

I have a Pumpkin Spice Card that I had a lot of fun to create.

I used the masking technique on this card.

I colored the images with my colored pencils.
I used a plaid embossing folder and swiped it with ink to create the card background.
I then added a strip of burlap ribbon and tied with with some twine.

Thankful Squirrel

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I would like to share a card I created for my October card classes.

I started this card by creating my own pattern paper behind the squirrel.  I used the Cranberry Bliss, Oatmeal Cookie and Dark Roast colors with the leaves from the Thankful Friends set.
I then stamped the Squirrel and colored his belly with a pencil.

All supplies and products are from Fun Stampers Journey.

Thanks so much

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I want to share a card I created for my October classes.

For this card, there was no stamping.  Everything is a die cut, even the sentiment.

Here is what I used:
Leaves: Cricut Cuttlebug
Pumpkin: Spellbinders
Thanks so Much: Impression Obsession.

I also embossed the leaves with the die and then added ink over the top to bring out the veins.

Sunflower Scarecrow

Hello Crafty Friends,

To me, fall means sunflowers.  I love sunflowers with their bright colors.

I knew I needed to create with this cute little scarecrow also.  I imagined he would be in a middle of a sunflower field.

I created the background with Oatmeal Cookie Cardstock, run through the Barn Wall embossing folder and anchored on Hazelnut Blend Cardstock, all from Fun Stampers Journey.  I then added a layer of Sunflower Pattern paper from Graphic 45.  I then added some twine and some burlap.
I then colored the Scarecrow with my Copics:
Overalls: B97, B95, B93
Shirt: YR68, YR15
Sticks: E37, E35
Hay: Y19, Y15
Hat Band: Y15
Hat: E35, E33
Face: Y23, Y21
Scarf and Patch: YG95, YG93

Thanks for looking.

Pumpkin Spice Season

Hello Crafty Friends,

It is that time of year, Pumpkin Spice Season.  I thought I would create a card to celebrate.

I bought this stamp set last year as the season was ending, so I knew I needed to make a card this year.
The base of the card is made with Orange Creamsicle Cardstock and a layer of cardstock embossed with a plaid embossing folder, both from Fun Stampers Journey.

The images are from Pink and Main and I colored them with my Copic Markers.

Pumpkins: YR27, YR68, YR15
Leaves and Straw: YG99, YG97
Caramel: E37
Plastic Cups: C2, C1, C00

I finished the card by adding some twine.

Fall Leaves

Hello Crafty Friends,

It is finally starting to feel like fall in Southern California.  Even though we don't get to see many trees change colors and have the fun of running in the leaves, I can still have fun creating with leaves.

I created the background using a retired embossing folder from Fun Stampers Journey.  I then rubbed over the top with Hazelnut Blend ink.

The leaves were created using the dies set Seasonal Foliage die set from Cricut: Cuttlebug.  I die cut the leaves out and then while the paper was still in the die, I used the ink to stencil the veins on the leaves.

I then crinkled the leaves a little to make them look a little more real.

To finish the card, I tried  a knot with raffia and added a twine bow.

Pumpkins on the Fence

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I want to share one last card I created for Halloween.  I knew I wanted to make a card with pumpkins on a fence.

I love the little fence die from Fun Stampers Journey, and I knew that I wanted to use it on a Halloween card.
I stamped the pumpkins from the Jack O'Lantern stamp set in Tangerine Fusion and Orange Creamsicle Cardstock.
I completed the card with a spooky moon and a Happy Halloween Sentiment.

Doodlebug Scrappy Halloween

Hello Crafty Friends,

I love Doodlebug Designs paper, so I had to make a cute Halloween card using the paper line.

I used Fun Stampers Journey Cardstock for the base of the card.  I then used the Diamond Net Embossing Folder to create the background to the card base.
I then added a few strips of scraps of Doodlebug Designs.  I distressed them with Black Licorice ink.

I finished the card by stamping the sentiment from Fun Stampers Journey, distressed it and added it to the card with pop squares.  I then added a Licorice Twist Twine.

Doodlebug Halloween Card

Hello Crafty Friends,

I am not really a Halloween person, but with Doodlebug and their cute paper, I had to create a card.

I started with a layer of Black Licorice cardstock, which I embossed with the Diamond Net Embossing Folder.  I then swiped Whip Cream ink over the embossing to bring the pattern out.
I then cut two banners from the Doodlebug Pattern Paper.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Jack-O-Lantern stamp set on Whip Cream Cardstock with Black Licorice ink and distressed all the pieces with Black Licorice ink.
I then added the glitter spider on top, from my stash.

All supplies are from Fun Stampers Journey, except the pattern paper.

Carsland Faces

Hello Crafty Friends,

I want to share with you another layout I created for my Disney album.  This one was a challenge because I wanted to use all the different photos of our faces, so I had to get a little creative.

Love to Craft Challenge-October

Hello Crafty Friends,

I hope you are having a great day.  Can you believe it is the first of the month already?   The first of the month means that I have a new project to share for the Love to Craft Challenge Blog.

Today I want to share with you a Holiday Cheer Mini Album I created.  Here is the cover.

Here is the first page.

I used the Me and My Big Ideas Christmas pad.  I was in a challenge to create projects to "bash" this pattern stack.   I used several Christmas themed Cricut cartridges to create embellishments.

Unfortunately after creating this album, which in whole was 20 pages, I still have a lot of the paper left.  I think I will make some Christmas cards with the rest.

Thanks for stopping by.  Please come join the challenge at Love to Craft Challenge Blog.
