Be Brave Surfer

Hello Crafty Friends,

I can't believe that we are nearing the end of July.  As a teacher, I get a little disappointed but excited.  My summer vacation is coming to an end, but the new school year is starting.  I am a virtual teacher, so the opening of schools does not bother my job, so I am excited for the new year.  I have been spending many hours learning new tools and techniques to use in my classroom next year.
As a teacher, I also see my time to get things done as coming to an end also.  I had all these plans to get so much done and my list is still quite long.
Today I have a card that created to celebrate the summer season.

I colored this little surfer awhile ago, so I am not sure what colors I used.

The card base is created with cardstock from Fun Stampers Journey and pattern paper from Echo Park's Splash collection.  I thought that flourish in the corner looked like waves so I thought it was perfect for the surfer.
The sentiment is from Fun Stampers Journey's Escape the Ordinary stamp set and stamped with Black Licorice ink.

Thanks for stopping by.  Please leave a comment.
