Bitten By the Bug 2: Halloween

 Hello Crafty Friends,

We have a new challenge at Bitten by the Bug 2 and the challenge is Halloween.  I tried my hand at a bigger vinyl project this month.

I started with a blank pizza pan from Dollar Tree.  I then cut the file from Miss Kate's Cuttables with my Cricut in the different colors of vinyl.  I changed the order a little bit to accommodate the pan shape.

I then added a black, orange and purple bow to the top.  I hot glued the ribbon tails to the sides of the pan so you could read the words.

This was a time consuming project to get everything so straight and out together so they all fit on the pan, but the results are great.  I will definitely be trying this type of project again.

Now it is your turn.  Break out your Cricut and create a Halloween project and share it with us at Bitten By the Bug 2.

Thanks for stopping by.  Please leave me a comment.

  1. I love that you tried a new type of project and I think it turned out great! My sis loves to get blanks at the $1 store, def telling her about this one!

  2. A pizza pan, what, so creative. The time it took to make this is well worth the looks of this.

  3. I love this! It looks perfect, so all that time paid off. I never thought of using a pizza pan as a blank, so I really need to look at things differently in Dollar Tree.

  4. OMG! I love this! Great use of a Dollar Tree product. I may have to try this too. Thanks for the inspiration

  5. I never would have thought to do this with a pizza pan. What an adorable idea! The colors are so bright and fun!

  6. My favorite seasonal project so far this year. What a nice piece of artwork. Love all the colors.

  7. How did you get the idea to use a pizza pan? What a great canvas to do this type of project! Love all the colors and lettering on the vinyl! That looks so cool and should hold up will to be displayed every year!
