Pleated Card

Hello!  Thanks for stopping by.  Today I have a card I want to share that uses the pleated paper technique.
The base of the card is Butter Cream Cardstock and Vintage Paris Pattern Paper.  I then took a piece of River Stone cardstock and used this for the base of my pleats.
The pleated paper is from the Vintage Paris Paper pack.  I found the instructions here.
Instead of adding another piece of paper to the top of the pleat, I added a piece of Bubble Gum Satin Ribbon, which I adhered to the back of the River Stone Cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment from Greeting Trends with Rock Candy ink.
I then added this whole piece to the card using foam squares.
To finish the card, I detail cut a flower for another sheet in the Vintage Paris Paper Pack and put two layers together with foam squares and then added it to the card with foam squares.  Enjoy!

  1. Loved this beautiful Pleated Card. Can you please share tutorial for making it? I would love to make it for my best friend. His birthday is coming next month and planning to host a surprise birthday party at a local event venue Houston TX. Really want to make it memorable for him.
